Jennifer Lawrence is The Most Searched Person on Google this 2014

Earlier this month, Yahoo! presented the most popular search queries of the year. Ebola took the top spot in the “Top 10 Searches” category and Jennifer Lawrence took the no. 1 position in the “Top 10 Celebrities” category.

Seems like Yahoo! and Google users have something in common: their passion for Jennifer Lawrence. You see, Google recently published the Year in Search 2014 website. It presents the year’s top trending searches, top trending people, top trending news, and so on.


In 2011, 2012, and 2013, Google presented the year’s most popular searches on its Google Zeitgeist website. Things are different this 2014. This year, Google presented the year’s most popular searches on the Year in Search website. It presents the top trending searches from around the world (global) as well as the top trending searches in specific regions (US, UK, Mexico, and so on).

Jennifer Lawrence takes the #1 spot in two categories on Google’s Year in Search 2014: Top Trending People (global and US) and Top Trending Actresses (US).
