Apple’s "Best of iTunes," the annual list that presents the most popular apps on iTunes, has just been published. According to it…

The tiny puzzle game Threes! is the Game of the Year.
And the brain training program Elevate is App of the Year.

Threes! – Apple's 2014 Game of the Year

Designed by independent game developer Asher Vollmer, Threes! is puzzle game that features just one simple game mode – but that game mode can prove to be quite addicting. Since “a picture is worth a thousand words,” I invite you to check out the video embedded below to see what it’s like to play the Threes! puzzle game.

Additional information about Threes! is available here.

The runner up for the title of Game of the Year is Leo’s Fortune, a platform adventure game that tasks you with finding Leo’s stolen gold.

Just like Threes!, Leo’s Fortune is available for iOS as well as Android.
