Some fifteen hundred people attended Samsung’s Galaxy Note Unpacked 2016 event in New York on August 2. I bring it up because during said event, Samsung unveiled the brand new Galaxy Note 7, "the intelligent smartphone that thinks big."
"The Galaxy Note7 combines productivity and entertainment, and strong security features. Powering a robust ecosystem, it is the ideal device for those who want to achieve more in life," said DJ Koh, President of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics. "Life moves faster than ever now so we created the Galaxy Note7 to move with users – helping them get things done more easily wherever, whenever."
Galaxy Note 7 – The looks
Just like the Galaxy S7 Edge, the Galaxy Note 4 has a symmetrical edge design. It is the first Galaxy Note with a dual-curved screen and the first Note to be perfectly symmetrical.
Made from premium materials and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the Note 7 has been refined to offer comfortable grip and easy one-handed operation – which is quite important, seeing that this thing has a 5.7-inch screen.
Several color options are available for the Galaxy Note 7: Black Onyx, Silver Titanium, Gold Platinum and the new Blue Coral.
"The Galaxy Note7 was designed with purpose, both inside and out," says Samsung. "From the dual-curved display and curved back to the revamped menu and expanded options for personalization. It's a smartphone that changes the way you get things done—in a big way."

Galaxy Note 7 – Water & dust resistant
Accidents happen. You never know when you might spill some water on your phone, drop it in the sink, or forget it outside in the rain. That’s not an issue with the Note 7, because it has IP68 certification, meaning it is water and dust resistant. You can even use the S Pen while the phone is submerged in water. The S Pen is water resistant as well.
Galaxy Note 7 – Advanced S Pen
As mentioned above, the S Pen that comes with the Galaxy Note 7 is water resistant. Here’s what else is new about it: increased pressure sensitivity, smaller pen tip, more Air Command functions, more pen styles and brush types.
