1. The Galaxy S7 Edge needs some help to catch fire
Samsung recalled the Galaxy Note 7, because there’s a problem with the battery, problem that may cause the device to catch fire and even explode. The Galaxy S7 Edge doesn’t suffer from such a problem. It won’t catch on fire… unless you do something stupid like drill into the device that is.
Apple’s iPhone 6S will catch fire as well… if you hit it with a sledgehammer.
2. NVIDIA released an official Fallout 4 mod
It’s called Vault 1080, it’s packed with next-gen GameWorks tech, and it’s quite creepy. It tells the story of " a misguided congregation that embraced darkness and sickness in order to survive."
"Vault 1080 uses its terrifyingly realistic light and shadow as the core of its experience. It’s a dark and ominous journey before you even head below ground, as you travel to the ruins of a fog-shrouded church through hostile marshland. Once in you find the entrance to Vault 1080 and its dark, intimidating tunnels. Tunnels that are, inevitably, full of twisted dangers," explained NVIDIA’s Steve Williams.
3. Google’s proud that Chrome uses less battery
Google recently rolled out Chrome version 53 to the public, touting that the browser comes with 2 main improvements: it’s faster and it’s more battery-friendly. The browser is about 15% faster and uses about 33% less power.

4. Nintendo’s first smartphone game features Mario
Nintendo announced at Apple’s September 2016 event that its first smartphone game will be a runner game that features none other than Mario.
Just because the game was unveiled at an Apple event doesn’t mean it’s an iOS exclusive. Super Mario Run will be released for iOS first (this December) and it will make its way to Android "at some point in the future," as Nintendo put it.
Super Mario Run is Nintendo’s first smartphone game, not its first smartphone app. The company’s first app is Miitomo.
5. Don’t play Pokémon Go in a Russian church
This Russian YouTuber thought it a good idea to go and play the summer’s hit game, Pokémon Go, in a church. What could go wrong, right?
He was arrested and charged with inciting hatred and offending religious sensibilities, under Article 282 of the Russian Federation Criminal Code.
He’s been detained for two months and could get up to five years of prison time.
6. This autonomous tractors looks seriously wicked
Where – at the Agricultural Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa.
Who – equipment manufacturer Case IH, a unit of CNH Industrial.
What – unveiled an autonomous concept vehicle, an awesome-looking, cabless tractor.
"In many parts of the world, finding skilled labor during peak use seasons is a constant challenge for our customers," said Case IH Brand President Andreas Klauser. "While we offer auto-steering and telematics on our equipment today for remote management of farm machinery and employees, this autonomous tractor concept demonstrates how our customers and their employees could remotely monitor and control machines directly. This technology will offer our customers greater operational efficiencies for tasks such as tillage, planting, spraying and harvesting."
7. Bloopers from Captain America: Civil War
Earlier this week, Marvel Entertainment published this gag reel from its latest superhero movie, Captain America: Civil War.
The movie will be released on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and on-demand on September 13th.
8. Dueling is coming to Tamriel
The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited is getting a very important update: Update 12, which finally introduces the ability to duel anyone you want. Duels can take place in any non-PvP overland zone
Update 12 is going to be released this October.
9. Duelyst gets its first major expansion
Duelyst, the collectible card tactics game created by the veteran developers at Counterplay Games, recently got its first major expansion. It’s called Denizens of Shim’Zar and features over 95 new faction-specific minions, spell, artifacts, and neutral pets.
As of last month, Duelyst is also available on Steam.
10. Doom’s finally getting a Deathmatch mode
Bethesda announced that via Free Update 3, the Doom shooter will get several new features: Arcade mode, Private Matches, and Deathmatch – the game mode where everyone is on their own, fragging each other to dominate the match.
The free Doom demo is still available on Steam.
