I am proclaiming today YouTube Monday here on FindMySoft. This means that all news articles we post today will be focused on the popular Google-owned video sharing site YouTube. And we kick off YouTube Monday with news about YouTube Leanback, a new format that is perfect for those of you who want to get the TV watching experience on YouTube.

When you turn on the TV, you immediately have something to see. The same goes for YouTube Leanback, which is now in Beta on TestTube. As soon as you launch YouTube Leanback, videos simply start playing. These videos are taken from your subscriptions, YouTube preferences, or they are the videos your friends share on Facebook (only if you connected your YouTube account to your Facebook account).

“YouTube Leanback is all about letting you sit back, relax and be entertained. Videos tailored to your interests play as soon as you visit the site and they play in full screen and high definition, continuously. There’s no need to click, search, or browse, unless you want to, of course. Watching YouTube becomes as easy as watching TV,” commented Senior Product Manager, Kuan Yong.

When you search for videos on YouTube, you will definitely need to click here and there. While using YouTube Leanback you can forget about the mouse and about clicking. Press the right arrow key and YouTube Leanback will immediately skip ahead to the next video; press the down or up arrows and you will be able to search, access player controls, and browse channels and videos.

“YouTube Leanback is currently in beta, but we’d love for you to try it out at www.youtube.com/leanback and let us know what it’s like to kick back and revel in the endless stream of YouTube entertainment!” added Kuan Yong.
