Earlier this month, Ubisoft announced that it is taking a break and won’t release any Assassin’s Creed games this year. Here it is, straight from the horse’s mouth.
“This year, we also are stepping back and re-examining the Assassin’s Creed franchise. As a result, we’ve decided that there will not be a new Assassin’s Creed game in 2016,” Ubisoft announced. “We’re taking this year to evolve the game mechanics and to make sure we’re delivering on the promise of Assassin’s Creed offering unique and memorable gameplay experiences that make history everyone’s playground.”
With that being said, it might come as a surprise to find out that Ubisoft has already released 3 new Ubisoft games this 2016. Let’s take a quick look at them, shall we?

An Assassin's Creed movie is heading to the big screen. Starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, the Assassin's Creed movie is going to be released on December 21, 2016 in the US. Here is Michael Fassbender donning the iconic garbs of an Assassin.
I would have embedded a trailer, but there is none at this moment. It’s rumored that the first trailer will be released alongside Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, on March 25, 2016.
