PMS Buddy iPhone App Saves You an Argument, Other Relationship Apps

Since you already have an iPhone, you might as well put it to good use, and what is better than using it as a shield against you PMS struck, hormonally imbalanced, always up for a fight, screams louder than a shrieking harpy of a girlfriend? They do say that love is the answer, not violence – so save yourself a fight with PMS Buddy, don’t get into pointless arguments that will only strain your relationship.

The catch is that PMS Buddy the iPhone app is not yet available to the general public as it is scheduled to be released some time this week. PMS Buddy the web page on the other hand has been up and running for a while now, so feel free to use this free service to save your relationship one month at a time (adapted the site’s tagline). Just to put things in perspective the service currently tracks more than 16,000 women and today alone 576 of them will be affected by PMS. According to Jordan Eisenberg, founder and chief executive of PMS Buddy, more than 3,000 men and women have sent him an email expressing their gratitude.

Let’s say that you were foolish enough to get into an argument with your significant other and things went a bit further than you wanted them to go and you broke up. She went out the door, throwing the gold necklace you bought her as a gift in your face. You could use the Gold Price Grabber app (iTunes link here) to easily sell it, or you could use it to check how much gold goes for these days (the app does both).

With money in your pocket, it is time to get back on the horse as they say (do not read any misogynistic pun in here, because there is none). SpeedDate.com has launched a new iPhone app (iTunes link here) which will let you get in touch with other single people looking for a relationship. You have nothing to lose, apart from the 60 seconds it will take you to signup; after that you will be able to view pics of people looking for a date, and socialize with potential matches.

No luck finding a date? Well, don’t worry, you can put the free time to other uses, like waiting for your OS 2.2.1 updated iPhone to perform a simple backup. According to Apple Discussions, people that have updated the device’s operating system have to wait as much as half an hour for a task that only took moments.

Here is another tip for you. Go to the following folder:
[User]/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates for Mac OS X
C:Documents and Settings[username]Application DataApple ComputeriTunesiPhone Software Updates for Windows XP
C:Users[username]AppDataRoamingApple ComputeriTunesiPhone Software Updates for Windows Vista
and delete it. You will thus free up space on the iPhone that was needlessly occupied by obsolete files.
