Today I Celebrate: 3,000 Articles and Counting

Today marks a very joyous occasion for me, a joyous occasion that to my mind deserves sharing with all the people who take the time to read the news posted on FindMySoft. The joyous occasion I am talking about is that this article right here is the 3,000th article posted online since I joined the FindMySoft team.

Taking a hint from Redmond-based software giant Microsoft, who on Windows 7’s anniversary and on MSE’s anniversary released some interesting statistics, I am going to use this occasion to share a few interesting statistics related to my job here at FindMySoft:

- Including this one, I’ve posted 3,000 news articles on FindMySoft’s news section.
- All the news articles have gotten more than 3.6 million views so far.
- I’ve posted more than 1,400 reviews so far; the reviews got close to 500,000 views.

And now a few of interesting things about FindMySoft:
- Online since July 2005, FindMySoft is one of the largest software download directories on the web. It is home to more than 150,000 software titles.
- FindMySoft gets more than 130,000 daily page views, more than 84,000 daily unique visitors.
- Most of the visits received by FindMySoft.com come from India, the US, and the UK. Those are the top 3 countries. Computer users from Indonesia, Pakistan, Germany, China, and Italy also regularly visit FindMySoft.

Putting the spotlight back on myself, I joined the FindMySoft team back in October 2008. When Money's Tight, Go Open Source and The Name Is 7, Windows 7 were among the first articles I posted online. Before joining FindMySoft I was a Security News Editor for Softpedia and before that I was a professional ghostwriter involved in various projects.

Don’t forget to check out the FindMySoft news section whenever you want to – daily preferably. You can subscribe to our RSS feed if you don’t want to do that.
