Rovio Releases Cook Book App: Bad Piggies Best Egg Recipes
Rovio Entertainment recently released a new, interactive, cook book app called 'Bad Piggies Best Egg Recipes'. It’s based on the 2011 award-winning cookbook of the same name and it features full social media integration.
At the Frankfurt Book Fair, Rovio Entertainment presented its latest app, an interactive cookbook app based on the 2011 award-winning Bad Piggies Best Egg Recipes cookbook (not on the recently released Bad Piggies game as you may be tempted to think). Get the new app and you will have access to a total of 41 “informative, surprising, and colorful egg recipes,” as Rovio put it.
Besides 41 delicious egg recipes, the app features animated illustrations, step-by-step photo instructions as well as funny photos of the finished recipes, an egg timer, an index and virtual bookmarks so you can easily access your favorite recipes, and full social media integration.
“We wanted to create a cookbook that brings a family together to actively do things together with the characters they all love,” said Peter Vesterbacka, Mighty Eagle and CMO. “It’s fully interactive at every stage -- from seeing the illustrations come to life to sharing photos with your friends and family.”
So if you’re an Angry Birds or Bad Piggies fan, why not get this new app and add it your cookbook library?
You can get Bad Piggies Best Egg Recipes from Apple’s App Store here.
Right now it is offered for a special introductory price of 99 cents (limited time offer; regular price is of $4.99).
In related news, Rovio recently announced that it will roll out a new Star Wars-themed Angry Birds edition. On the 8th of October Angry Birds Stars Wars will become available for iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle Fire, Mac, PC, Windows Phone, and Windows Phone 8. A bit sooner than that, on the 28th of October, cool Angry Birds Star Wars merchandise (including Halloween costumes, action figures and collectible plush toys) will be released.
