Key Galaxy S5, Gear 2, and Gear Fit Features Presented in Official Hands-on Video

Samsung rolled out the official hands-on video for the new Galaxy S5 smartphone. Samsung also rolled out the official hands-on video for the new Gear 2 and Gear Fit wearable devices.

Here is the official hands-on video released by Samsung for the Galaxy S5 smartphone.



Samsung Galaxy S5 – Main Features

  • Design – contoured shape, perforated pattern on the back cover, dust and water resistant
  • Camera – 16MB rear camera, 2MP front camera. Samsung pointed out that the S5’s camera offers the world’s fastest autofocus speed up to 0.3 seconds.
  • Download – receive and send data at blazing speeds since the S5 provides support for fifth generation Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 2X2 MIMO and since the S5 comes with a Download Booster feature.
  • S Health – tools to stay fit and well are offered by the enhanced S Health 3.0. It features a comprehensive personal fitness tracker, a pedometer, built-in heart rate monitor, and other tools.
  • Other features – like the ultra-power saving mode that lets you use your S5 for a longer period of time.

Samsung Gear Fit – Main Features
  • Design - dust and water-resistant; curved 1.84-inch super AMOLED touchscreen display; interchangeable straps.
  • Fitness – the Gear Fit also has a built-in heart rate sensor.
  • Notifications – notifications for calls, emails, alarms, and more are presented to you.
