Trillian 1.0 for BlackBerry Is Out, Cerulean Studios Announced

Good news for all of you out there who have a BlackBerry and like to use multiprotocol instant messaging application Trillian. Cerulean Studios has finally put the finishing touches on the application and has rolled it out to the masses. This is an important step in a journey that started with Cerulean Studios rolling out a Beta of Trillian for BlackBerry to "a small number of testers from diverse backgrounds” back in May. A journey that continued with Cerulean Studios rolling out a public Beta back in June.

A journey that ended this August with the release of Trillian 1.0 for BlackBerry – a final, stable application that anyone can use.

“We are pleased to announce that Trillian for BlackBerry is now available on BlackBerry App World! Our introductory pricing of only $4.99 makes Trillian one of the best values today for your BlackBerry. Upgrades for the BlackBerry will follow a similar path to our desktop products, with all minor updates being free of charge. We have plenty of great features to still add to the 1.x product line and are looking forward to getting new versions out the door!” announced Cerulean Studios.

- Synchronize with Trillian for Windows, Mac, iPhone, Web and BlackBerry for contact list, avatars, accounts, etc
- Support for many BlackBerry phones, including BlackBerry Bold, Storm, Curve, and Pearl
- Two beautiful themes – black and white – designed to smoothly integrate into the BlackBerry environment
- Handy and thoughtful keyboard shortcuts throughout
- Various notification options – sounds, vibration, LED control, email push, home screen icons
- Contact list sorting, grouping, MetaContacts, privacy, and organization
- Set status, avatar, and display name from within the app
- Message window bubble view, copy/paste, send photo, send buzzes, emoticons
- Supports BIS, BES, WiFi, and direct TCP connections
