Comedy site Funny or Die just showed that weather apps do not have to be boring. The Emmy-winning comedy video website founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's production company, Gary Sanchez Productions, just rolled out an iOS app called Funny or Die Weather.

The app presents information about the weather, info pulled from Weather Underground. All this information about the weather comes accompanied by wisecracks and jokes that are sure to put a smile on your face.

“The Funny Or Die Weather app is here! From our award-winning weather department comes a new app that blows the doors off your stupid, boring, old weather app. Follow the most trusted name in meteorology, Funny Or Die, as we guide you through the uncertain world of changing weather. It’s scary out there, but you have a friend in the Funny Or Die Weather app,” says the app’s official description on Apple’s App Store.

Funny or Die Weather – Main Features

• Simple design – the interface has a simple design that clearly presents all you need to know about the weather.
• Weather Info – the app pulls weather info from Weather Underground. Consequently it can present the current temperature, wind speed, barometric pressure, humidity level, a 5-day forecast, and so on.
• Locations – add all your favorite locations and the app will display the weather conditions for these locations. You can switch from one location to another with a simple swipe.
• Humor – jokes are more than welcome, especially when nasty weather puts a damper on your spirits. That is why the app presents various jokes and wisecracks. “An endless supply of jokes from the comedy minds behind Funny or Die”.
• Free – the app is available for free. It doesn’t display any ads and it doesn’t offer any in-app purchases.
