In the late nineties, when it dawned on people that there’s money to be made from this internet doohickey, tech startups sprung up like mushrooms after rain. This led to the Dot-Com Bubble, a period of time when investors were willing to give millions to companies that had no clear business plan, companies that were more than happy to spend huge amounts on all the unnecessary things.

In the early 2000s, the time of the Dot-Com Bubble was coming to an end. Companies that seemed too big to fail, did precisely that. As more and more investors became skeptical, more and more companies fell. The infographic below presents some of the biggest flops of the Bot-Com Bubble.
