15 New Video Games You Can Play this Month (April 2017)

Now that we’re done laughing at all the April Fools' pranks, it’s time to focus on all the brand new video games that are going to be released this month. Listed below are 15 new video games that are scheduled to be released in April 2017.

Before I go on, I have to quickly remind you about the 10 new video games that were released last month, in March 2017. That’s it, carry on!

1. Drawn to Death
  • Game type – four-player third-person arena shooter.
  • Release date – April 4 exclusively for PS4.
  • Price – free with a PS Plus subscription in April.
  • About – acclaimed video game developer David Jaffe, director of multiple franchises including God of War and Twisted Metal, is back with the PlayStation4 system exclusive Drawn to Death, a chaotic, third-person death match shooter played out on the lined pages of a teenager’s notebook.

2. Persona 5
  • Game type – Japanese role-playing video game.
  • Release date – April 4 for PS4 and PS3.
  • About – Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves. They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high schooler but they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people.

3. Paradigm
  • Game type – point-and-click adventure video game.
  • Release date – April 5 on Steam.
  • Price – $14.49 on the Humble Store.
  • About – Paradigm is a surreal adventure game set in the strange and post apocalyptic Eastern European country of Krusz. Play as the handsome mutant, Paradigm, who's past comes back to haunt him in the form of a genetically engineered sloth that vomits candy.

4. BulletStorm: Full Clip Edition
  • Game type – remastered version of 2011’s cult-classic first-person shooter video game.
  • Release date – April 7 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

7. Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom

  • About – play as Chado and his companions, traveling through the Celestial islands on their flying ship. After crash-landing on one of the most hostile of the Celestial islands, you find yourself in the middle of a conflict across multiple kingdoms. 8. Syberia 3
  • Game type – adventure game.
  • Release date – April 20 in Europe and April 25 in North America, available for Pc, Mac, Xbox One, and PS4.
  • Price – $39.99 for the Standard Edition on Steam and Origin, $49.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
  • About – the limitless imagination of Benoît Sokal continues in Syberia 3, focusing on an entirely new adventure. After abandoning the island, Kate is found dying on the edge of a river by the Youkole tribe, a nomadic people migrating with their snow ostriches. Stuck in Valsembor village, together they must find a way to continue their journey in a race against their enemies and unexpected obstacles, not to mention Kate's past, which catches up with her.

9. Outlast 2
  • Game type – first-person survival horror video game
  • Release date – April 25 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

You are Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with your wife, Lynn. The two of you are investigative journalists willing to take risks and dig deep to uncover the stories no one else will dare touch. Each story you find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.
