What’s better than classic games? Classic games that you can get for free! Nox, Westwood’s classic action role-playing game, is now available for free via Origin's On The House.
EA frequently offers games, expansions and other things of the sort at absolutely no cost via On The House. For a limited time, EA is now offering Nox, the classic game that Westwood released back in 2000.
In the game, you play as Jack Mower, a 20th century dude who was sucked into the world of Nox via his TV set. Nox is in danger, obviously, and it’s up to you to embark on an epic journey to save it. If you want to return home, you’ll have to defeat the evil sorceress Hecubah and her army of Necromancers.
Nox follows three different storylines, depending on the character class you choose:
Nox is very similar to Diablo II
Seeing that NOx is 16-years-old, I wouldn’t worry about the system requirements. Still, in the spirit of being thorough (and because these articles must have a certain number of words), here are Nox’s minimum system requirements.

Go get Nox for free from Origin On the House.
It won’t be available for free forever. But looking at all the other games that were offered for free via Origin’s On The House, I'd say that you have plenty of time to make up your mind.
