Sophos Aims for Complete Mobile Protection with New Acquisition
Sophos, company that provides protection against complex threats and data loss, announced earlier this week that it will make a new acquisition as part of its aim to provide the industry’s most complete mobile device protection. And more to the point, Sophos announced that it entered a definitive agreement to acquire DIALOGS, Germany-based privately-held company that provides mobile management solutions. DIALOGS will aid Sophos improve and solidify its position in the enterprise mobile protection world.

By acquiring DIALOGS, Sophos will add DIALOGS’ SaaS-based and on-premises mobile management technology to its encryption and data protection capabilities. smartMan, DIALOGS’ MDM solution, will form the basis for MDM and mobile management solutions that will be integrated into the Sophos UTM-based suite.
