Clem Lefebvre, Lead Linux Mint Developer, announced on Monday, the 26th of September, that a partnership between Linux Mint and UnixStickers.com has been signed. If you are not familiar with UnixStickers.com, it is an Italian company that delivers Linux-related stickers to Linux fans all over the world. The company has a wide variety of open source-related stickers to offer: GNU/Linux, Gnome, KDE, Java, MySQL, Apache, PHP, Python, and other Linux distributions, including Linux Mint.

As part of the abovementioned partnership UnixStickers.com has some cool Linux Mint stickers to offer. According to Clem Lefebvre, “the stickers are extremely cheap and of very good quality.” A Linux Mint sticker will set you back a mere €0.45 (about $0.60); it is available for purchase here.

Also as part of the partnership, UnixStickers.com will donate a small percentage from all sales to Linux Mint. Out of the €0.45 a sticker costs, €0.10 is donated to support the Linux Mint Project.

As far as I see it, getting a Linux Mint sticker is a win-win situation. It is a win because you get a top quality sticker that shows off your love for the Linux Mint operating system which, I don’t need to tell you this, is a top notch OS. It is a win once again because by getting a Linux Mint sticker, you have the chance to support the operating system you love so much. And speaking about supporting the Linux Mint operating system, additional information on how you can show your support is available here . Apart from making a donation, there are several other ways in which you can lend a helping hand.

Getting back to the Linux Mint stickers, here are some technical details you may want to know about:
  • 17mm wide and 26mm high.
  • Laminated and printed on top quality vinyl.
  • Can be removed without tearing, does not leave residues on surfaces.

Again, here’s the link where you can purchase the sticker.

And here's a pic of how the sticker looks like.
