Cerulean Studios, the developer behind the popular multiprotocol instant messaging application Trillian, was announcing the release of a Beta version of Trillian 5.0 at the start of July. True to its word, Cerulean Studios released Trillian 5.0 Beta for Windows at the start of August. The story of Trillian 5.0 Beta continues with this recent announcement from Cerulean Studios: Trillian 5.0 Beta has been updated; Build 23 has been released to fix more than a hundred bugs.

“Thanks to everyone who tried the new beta of Trillian 5 for Windows. This week we’re back with build 23, featuring over 100 bugfixes and enhancements! Be sure to update your existing copy of Trillian 5 with the latest and greatest to ensure you benefit from all of the new fixes. We’ll be continuing to improve the product moving forward,” announced Cerulean Studios.

There are more good news to report: after announcing it back in July, Cerulean Studios has released Trillian for Android (Beta 1.0). According to Cerulean Studios, a large number of people asked for a Trillian version for the Android operating system. Trillian for Android was such a requested app that Cerulean Studios couldn’t “handle any more blog comments or emails about it.” So it did the sensible thing – it gave the people what they wanted. It started working Trillian for Android.

“Trillian for Android is ready for public beta testing! Over the coming weeks we will be fixing bugs and crashes, working to heavily optimize speed and performance, and finalizing our ’service’ infrastructure to improve the reliability of background notifications. Beta testers should expect a few bumps and crashes along the way as we begin our full test on all of the many possible Android devices!” explained Cerulean Studios.
