Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge Named Best in Show at MWC 2015
Samsung was glad to announce that its new Galaxy S6 Edge has been named best in show at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Spain.
The GSM Association awarded the S6 Edge the title of “Best New Handset, Tablet or Device.” This is an award that recognizes the best new device launched during the show.
“With the Galaxy S6 edge, we sought to blend technology and design in a way the world has never seen before,” said JK Shin, president and head of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics. “We are honored that the GSMA agree that these are our most elegant and powerful devices so far.”
In related news, it should be mentioned that KNOX, Samsung’s mobile security platform, won an award as well. Samsung KNOX won the “Best Security/Anti-fraud Product of Solution” award – the GSMA recognized KNOX as the best solution launched during this year’s show in the enterprise mobile security division.
