The new Angry Birds Go! app will be a downhill racing game. It will be set on a 3D Piggy Island. And it will be rolled out to the public this December – on the 11th of December to be more precise.

This is the official gameplay trailer for the new Angry Birds Go! game.

Rovio Entertainment caught our attention this June when it announced that it is working on a new game called Angry Birds Go!. Apart from a name, Rovio did not give us many more details. The company said that the new game will feature all your favorite characters from the Angry Birds games and that it will be a thrilling and action packed game. What the game will be like, what sort of game it will be, when it will be released – these details were left out.

It is now October and Rovio Entertainment once again catches our attention. This time, it is because it lifted the veil on the new game. Rovio announced that Angry Birds Go! will be a downhill racing game set on a #D Piggy Island. The company also gave us a release date (December 11, 2013) and an official gameplay trailer (I embedded it at the start of this article).

Angry Birds Go! Main Features
  • A free-to-play downhill race game set on a 3D Piggy Island
  • High-octane racing action and upgradable karts
  • All your favorite characters from the Angry Birds games
  • Unique special powers for the characters
  • Crazy stunt and air tracks
  • Multiple fun game modes
  • TELEPODS Hasbro figures so you can teleport your favorite karts into the game

As mentioned above, the game will be released on December 11. It will be available for iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8 and BlackBerry 10.
