Piriform: Fast, Easy to Use CCleaner for Android App Is Coming
A CCleaner version for Android will be released in the near future. Piriform announced it’s working on one and said that the CCleaner app will be quick and easy to use.
There is no denying that CCleaner is a properly good tool for cleaning your PC. The application will uncover and remove junk files, will find and address Windows Registry issues, will help you manage all the applications that launch at startup, will securely erase free space, and more. This functionality, and the fact that it is offered for free, has made CCleaner a very popular tool among Windows users – in the about 9 years it’s been out there, CCleaner it has been downloaded more than 1 billion times.
Microsoft’s Windows operating system was just the starting point for Piriform’s CCleaner tool. Wanting its cleaning tool to be available on multiple platforms, Piriform then started working on CCleaner for Mac. The first beta was released in the summer of 2011 and the stable version, CCleaner for Mac 1.0, was rolled out to the public at the start of 2012. The functionality that Windows users had enjoyed for years, was ported by Piriform to Mac as well.
It is now the start of 2013 and Piriform had an exciting announcement to make: a new CCleaner version is in the works; this time CCleaner's junk cleaning functionality will be ported to Google's popular Android mobile operating system. Or to put it briefly, CCleaner for Android will be released soon.
