Mozilla just rolled out the list of featured add-ons for the month of November. Out of them all, the Pick of the Month is S3.Google Translator.

As the name points out, this Firefox add-on brings the power of Google Translate’s automatic translation to Mozilla’s web browser. You can use it to translate to and from 50+ languages. Translate entire webpages, a specific phrase, or just a piece of text. You can do so quite easily with S3.Google Translator, an add-on that is available for download for free on Mozilla’s Add-ons website.

Each month, the Firefox community board presents a collection of the most useful or interesting Firefox add-ons. The list of featured add-ons for the month of November 2013, was comprised of the following entires:
  • Converter – contextual (inline) unit, timezone, and currency converter. It works on any site, it features custom conversions for offline text, and it comes with a shopping assistant.
  • Undo Closed Tabs Button – this add-on provides a more efficient way of reopening closed tabs. You can do so via the right click context menu or via a toolbar button.
  • S3.Google Translator – use the power of Google Translate to translate webpages, phrases, or selected text.

Out of the three featured add-ons, Mozilla chose but one to be the Pick of the Month. As mentioned at the top, that Pick of the Month is S3.Google Translator.

In related news, Mozilla recently rolled out Firefox 25 to the public.

The desktop version enhances the find function (the find bar is no longer shared between tabs), does not clear your browsing session when you reset the browser, and invites you to migrate another browser’s history and settings if you’ve been away from Firefox for months.

The Android version comes with a Guest Browsing mode. Thanks to Guest Browsing you can rest assured that your history, open tabs, and bookmarks will not be affected when you let someone browse the web on your mobile.
