Firefox for Android version 25, which is currently being rolled out, comes with a useful Guest Browsing mode. As expected, this new feature comes in handy when you have to hand your phone and browser to a friend.

Mozilla is currently in the process of rolling out Firefox 25 to the masses – this includes Firefox 25 for desktop and Firefox 25 for Android-powered mobile devices. On the mobile front, Firefox for Android comes with three new features. The main new feature on the list is called Guest Browsing mode. Use it when one of your friends is in dire need of browsing the web but doesn’t have a device to do so. Thanks to Guest Browsing you can rest assured that your history, open tabs, and bookmarks will not be affected.
“Guest Browsing is designed to quickly and easily lock your personal data and provide your guest with a fresh new browsing experience. Once you enable Guest Browsing Firefox restarts with a fresh profile and deletes that guest’s information when the guest session is closed. This means you can let friends and family borrow your phone or tablet to surf the Web and make sure your own information is safe and secure,” explained Mozilla.
