Would you like to discover new apps for your Palm mobile device? If you do, you will be glad to know there is an app out there that can do just that - help you discover other apps. The app I am talking about is called “Featured Apps” and is provided free of charge. Each week the Featured Apps app will present you with some cool apps handpicked by the Palm team.

“A new app -- called Featured Apps -- is now available to Featured Apps screen help you discover some great handpicked apps each week. The free app for US Palm phones will highlight a mix of new Featured Apps icon arrivals and existing favorites,” announced Communications and Marketing Director with Palm, Jon Zilber.

In related news, did you know that all apps in Palm WebOS App Catalog are now 50% cheaper? Until the 9th of July you can get almost any app at half the price. Just about all the apps in the US Palm APP Catalog and palm web channel cost half as much as they used to. To visit the US Palm App Catalog, just tap the App Catalog icon on your mobile device. You have until the 9th of July (that’s about 3 weeks) to take advantage of this offer and get an app at half the price.
