The countdown to the 50th Super Bowl has begun. This Sunday, we’ll get to see the Carolina Panthers go against the Denver Broncos at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. And during the halftime show, we’ll get to see Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Beyonce. We’ll also get to see tons of interesting ads, but most of them are already available on YouTube AdBlitz.

Microsoft, the only software company to make it into the Top 25 Most Liked Super Bowl Ads, knows who will win the Super Bowl 50. Microsoft shared that valuable piece of information and it also shared some great tips on how to get ready for game day.

Bing predicts that Carolina will win its first championship

Bing Predicts says that the Carolina Panthers will win the Super Bowl match against the Denver Broncos. Search for “Super Bowl” on Bing and you will get this quick result.

“In Sunday’s title game, the Bing Predicts models project 17-1 Carolina to win the Big Game with 64% probability,” explained Walter Sun, Bing Predicts Team Lead. “During the regular season, Carolina was the league’s #1 scoring offense and #6 scoring defense, while Denver was the #20 scoring offense and #4 scoring defense. Carolina’s rush offense was #2 vs #17 for Denver, and Denver’s rush defense was #3 while Carolina’s was #4. Both defenses are stout, so our models expect Carolina’s much stronger offense to be the difference, becoming the first 18-win champion in 30 years.”

To further explain why the Carolina Panthers will win Super Bowl 50, Microsoft NFL Communications Lead Annie Arnold shared a couple of interesting Next Gen Stats:
  • Ted Ginn, wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers, had the overall fastest run play in the NFL this season.
  • Cam Newton, quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, was the only NFL quarterback to be in the top ten fastest play multiple times this season.
To drive the point home, Annie Arnold shared the following infographic.

Microsoft Presents 3 Ways to Get Ready for Game Day

  • 1. Get an app and watch the game live
Get the official NFL app for Windows 10 or the NFL Mobile app from the Windows Store and watch the Super Bowl live on your Windows 10 devices, on your Xbox, or on your mobile. The app features interesting Next Gen Stats and useful Next Gen Replays.

Get the CBS Sports app for Windows 10 and Xbox and watch the Super Bowl live. If you can’t catch the game on TV, get this app and watch the game with multiple camera angles.

  • 2. Play trivia games, uncover random facts
Cortana, Microsoft’s intelligent personal assistant, can put your NFL knowledge to the test. Ask Cortana “guess the team” and she will play a game with you. The game goes like this: Cortana will give you a clue about an NFL team and you have to guess the team.

And if you tell Cortana “give me a Super Bowl fact” she will do just that. She will bring up a random fact that you could use to impress your friends.

  • 3. Take part in Xbox Madden Tournaments
On Saturday, February 6, ahead of the big game, Microsoft Stores in NYC, Denver and Carolina will hold Xbox Madden Tournaments. Take part in such a tournament and you’ll have the chance to win an Xbox One and Madden NFL 16.

Microsoft HoloLens and the NFL

"With HoloLens, running Windows 10, your favorite players could be brought to life through high-definition, 3D displays – allowing you to experience the athleticism and skills behind their stats," said Yusuf Medhi, Microsoft corporate vice president of Windows and Devices Marketing.

"That game-changing play could pop up as a 3D hologram so you could view the field from all angles, all while your fantasy scores update in real time, without the need for you to look down at another screen."
