Rovio’s latest match-three game features Coral and her band of fishy friends who all love to eat delicious fruit. And because of that, they’ve taken to dry land to find the delicious fruit they love so much. It is up to you to give Coral and her fishy friends a helping hand. It is up to you to get them the delectable treats they’re after and keep the feast going.

That’s the story behind Nibblers, a new Rovio game that recently soft launched in Canada, Finland, Australia and New Zealand on the Apple App Store.

Nibblers – Main Features
  • Match-the-fruit – Nibblers is a match-three puzzle game that features various types of fruit. You must match at least three of the same kind to remove them from the field and score points.
  • Nibblers – you have to match 4 or more fruit to bring out Coral, Octo, or another fishy character. Each Nibbler has a special ability and will help you score more points.
  • Smash Crab and the Pufferfish – remove a fruit of your choice or remove an entire block of fruit with a bit of help from the Smash Crab and Pufferfish.
  • Lizards – you’ll have to defeat lizards and other, tougher enemies. The toughest enemies are the bosses, of course. Boss battles will have you go against the toughest of the lizardy ranks.
  • Play with friends – score top points to make it to the top of the leaderboards, see your friends’ progress on the island map, give your friends special gifts.
Nibblers is a free to play game that offers in-app purchases.

As mentioned above, Nibblers soft launched in Canada, Finland, Australia and New Zealand. Rovio will test the game and gather feedback during the soft launch. When the company thinks Nibblers is ready for the limelight, it will make it available for the rest of the world.

In related news, I remind you that another Rovio game recently soft launched in Canada:
Angry Birds Under Pigstruction.
