The popular Crossy Road endless arcade hopper can be played on iOS and Android mobile devices. But you already know that.

The news is that Crossy Road can also be played on Windows PCs and Windows mobile devices. Hipster Whale’s hit game just landed on Microsoft’s Windows Store and Windows Phone Store.

“Crossy Road is available to download for free from the Windows and Windows Phone Stores today! With unpredictable characters like an unlucky cat, giddy goat, dragon or flea, it’s your job to help them cross roads, train tracks and rivers,” announced The Windows Team. “Whether you play for ten minutes or three hours this game is sure to surprise and delight you with its simple, pure and innovative gameplay.”

Crossy Road – Main Features
  • Simple gameplay – the goal in the game is to cross the road without getting splattered. Simple, right? You’ll have to use your wits and quick reflexes to make it to the other side.
  • Retro characters – collect more than 90 retro-styled, pop art inspired characters. Including a duck, a sheep, a beaver, a magician, a goat, a cow, Google’s Android, and a robot.
  • Endless hopping fun – as mentioned above, Crossy Road is an endless arcade hopper. The fun never stops. You can, in theory at least, keep on crossing roads, train tracks, and rivers forever.
  • Free – Crossy Road is free to play…and it is played by some 50 million people around the world. It is a massively popular title that won several “Best of 2014” awards.
