Monument Valley, the game that won the 2014 iPad Game of the Year Award, the 2015 Best Overall Game Pocketgamer Award, and various other awards, is finally available for Microsoft’s Windows Phone.

This is great news for Windows Phone users. They can get their hands on a stunningly beautiful, award-winning, and highly entertaining game.

On April 3, 2014, the Monument Valley “illusory adventure of impossible architecture and forgiveness” became available for Apple’s iOS mobile operating system. More than a year later, on April 30, 2015, the game became available for Microsoft’s Windows Phone mobile operating system as well.

While iOS users where celebrating Monument Valley’s 1st anniversary, Windows Phone users were just getting their hands on the game. Speaking about that…

You can get the Monument Valley game from Microsoft’s Windows Phone Store here.
The game is priced at $3.99. It works with Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1.

The goal in the game is simple enough: you have to guide Ida the silent princess from point A to point B. While the goal is commonplace, the visual experience is striking. You will get to enjoy a stunningly beautiful world and you will get to manipulate fantastical architecture and impossible geometry. You will come across optical illusions, you will come across the enigmatic Crow People, and you will come to uncover hidden paths.

The audio experience is just as good as the visual experience. Monument Valley’s soundscape is just as impressive as the landscape. So plug in your headphones and enjoy an easy to pick up, stunningly beautiful, award-winning, and terribly entertaining game.

As mentioned above, Monument Valley is available for Apple’s iOS and for Microsoft’s Windows Phone. It’s also available for Google’s Android on Google Play and Amazon.
