Rovio Entertainment has recently rolled out a new episode for Angry Birds Rio. Just like the previous episode, the High Dive episode, the new Blossom River episode comes with a total of 26 new levels. 20 levels can be played by all; the other 6 levels are hidden bonus levels.

The Blossom River episode also comes with new drifting boats. As your boat floats down the river, you must give it all and stop the irritating monkeys.

And last but not least, the Blossom River episode introduces a new feature that is meant to help you keep track of your latest updates. And to be more precise, capital letters are now used to highlight new features.

To play the Blossom River update you must get the latest version of Angry Birds Rio. You can get the iOS version for free from Apple’s App Store. And you can get the Android version for free from Google’s Play Store. The Windows Phone version hasn't been updated at the time of writing this. But the interesting thing is that the app has gone free. It is available for free on the Windows Phone Store.

The Blossom River Episode, just like the High Dive Episode, is based on the Rio 2 movie. The animated film is cheduled to be released in the US on the 11th of April – that’s tomorrow. Blu and Jewel, the birds from the original Rio movie, have three kids in the sequel. The whole family is hurtled out of Rio and ends up in the wilds of the Amazon. Blu has to go against the vengeful Nigel and his fearsome father-in-law.
