Angry Birds Rio High Dive Update: New Visual Experience, 26 New Levels, and More

The new High Dive update for Angry Birds Rio has quite a lot to offer. Inspired by the upcoming animated movie Rio 2, this update features a beautiful new visual experience and a total of 26 new levels – 20 new levels and 6 bonus levels. The game tasks you with saving the beautiful Amazon river dolphins and puts a new move at your fingertips.

Rovio Entertainment recently rolled out an update for the Rio version of its incredibly popular Angry Birds game. The update in question is entitled High Dive and has quite a lot to offer. Just take a look below!

High Dive Update – What’s New
  • New Visuals – as Rovio explained, the new update “brings a totally new visual style to the Angry Birds Rio game.” The update brings with it shiny new graphics and a totally refreshed visual experience.
  • New Levels – there are 26 new levels in all. Please note that 6 of them are bonus levels.
  • New Task – the goal in the High Dive update is to save the beautiful Amazon river dolphins that are trapped in underwater cages. They need your help, so will you save them?
  • New Move – dive underneath the water to break open the cages from beneath.

The High Dive update is inspired by Rio 2, the animated film that is scheduled to be released in the US on the 11th of April. Blu and Jewel, the birds from the original Rio movie, now have three kids. The whole family is hurtled out of Rio and ends up in the wilds of the Amazon. Blu has to go against the vengeful Nigel and his fearsome father-in-law.
