Ayrton Senna, the legendary Brazilian racing driver who won three Formula One world championships, is now available as a playable character in Angry Birds Go!

Chuck, the yellow and fastest bird of the flock, embodies Ayrton Senna in Rovio’s free-to-play downhill racing game.

Rovio Entertainment, the company behind the popular Angry Birds franchise, collaborated with the Ayrton Senna Institute (IAS), organization that has been working for more than 20 years to improve public education in Brazil. The goal of this collaboration was to introduce a new playable character in the Angry Birds Go! downhill racing game.

That new characters is none other than Ayrton Senna – Chuck, the yellow bird that has a speed rush ability, represents the legendary Brazilian driver in the Angry Birds Go! game. Or as Rovio put it, “Senna Bird takes the place of Chuck as the fastest bird in the game.”

Please note that you will have to win 41 races to unlock Ayrton Senna’s iconic yellow helmet. Why 41? Because that’s how many races Ayrton Senna won as a Formula 1 driver.

“Having one of the greatest Formula 1 drivers as an honorary member of the Angry Birds flock is a humbling milestone for Angry Birds Go!. We’re delighted to work with the IAS on this awesome collaboration!" says Wilhelm Taht, Head of External Products at Rovio.

I have to remind you that back in April, to celebrate the fact that Angry Birds Go! has been downloaded more than 130 million times, Rovio introduced a local multiplayer over WiFi in Party Mode. This new feature lets two people play against each other in the same game but using their own device.
