It’s Friday and as soon as you’re done with work, you’re going to go home and enjoy a classic Ubisoft game. Perhaps Assassin’s Creed 3, which is offered for free this December as part of Ubisoft’s 30th anniversary celebrations. Might I suggest you pair your game with a stiff drink? Maybe a cocktail inspired by the game itself!

On day 12 of its 30 Days of Giveaways promo, Ubisoft shared some interesting cocktail recipes. One of those recipes is based on Assassin’s Creed. The remaining four are based on other Ubisoft games: Far Cry, Prince of Persia, Rayman, and Splinter Cell.

Assassin’s Gin – "A dangerous cocktail that takes no prisoners"

You will need some gin, lemon juice, a teaspoon of sugar, soda water, and a Maraschino cherry for garnish.

Pour the gin, lemon juice and sugar into a shaker over ice, and shake vigorously. Put some ice cubes into a highball glass and strain your mix into the glass. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry and a slice of lemon, and you’re done!

As mentioned at the start of this article, Ubisoft is offering Assassin’s Creed 3 for free this month.

Go to UBI 30 to claim the game.

Far Cry’s Long Island – "Reawaken the dormant adventurer within"

You will need several spirits for this one: triple sec, light rum, dry gin, vodka, and tequila. You will also need sour mix or lemon juice, some Coke, and a lemon wedge for garnish.

Pour all the spirits and the sour mix into a Collins glass with ice. Stir or shake. Add the Coke, garnish with the lemon edge, and you’re done.

Back in November, UBI 30 offered Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon for free.

Prince of Persia – "The Prince always has good taste – and this cocktail is no exception"

You will need cognac, Madeira wine, Cointreau, bitters (Campari, Angostura, Amer Picon or something else), Champagne, and orange slices for garnish.

Pour everything but the Champagne into a shaker, over ice. Once you’re done shaking, add the Champagne. Garnish with the orange slices and you’re done!

Prince of Persia was the very first video game that Ubisoft offered for free via UBI 30. That was way back in June.

Raymanhattan – "Attention: if you can no longer feel your arms or legs, it’s a good time to stop!"

You will need rye whiskey, red vermouth, Angostura bitters, and a Maraschino cherry for garnish.

Pour everything into a mixing glass with ice cubes, and stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with the cherry, and you’re done.

Regularly priced at $4.99, the Rayman Classic game for iOS and Android is available for free on Google Play and Apple’s App Store.

Splinter Sling – "Avoid preparing this cocktail in the dark"

You will need gin, cherry brandy, grenadine syrup, orange liqueur (triple sec, Cointreau, Grand Marnier), lime juice, pineapple juice, Benedictine, Angostura bitters, and a slice of lime for garnish.

Take half a lime and press it into a tumbler glass half-filled with ice cubes. When you’re done pressing, pour in all the ingredients and mix well. Add some sparking water, garnish with a slice of lime, and you’re done! Serve with a straw.
