To welcome in a new year, Microsoft has a pleasant surprise for all Office 2010 users out there: some very nice photo calendars have been released to the public. You can get these calendars, edit them with Word 2010, and display them in your home or office. As Microsoft’s Judi Hurlock explained, all the calendars “take advantage of familiar Word 2010 features to let you design your own calendar.”

Microsoft released photo calendars for home and photo calendars for the office. For each calendar there’s a version with the week starting on Monday and another with the week starting on Sunday. You can enjoy these photo calendars as they are, or you can replace the photos they display with photos of your own.

That takes care of the calendars Microsoft released for home use; the Redmond-based software giant released some business calendars as well. These have been specifically formatted for the office. Get these calendars and you can use Word 2010 to add a company’s logo and web address. Also, you can change the photos with any other photos you want. Here’s a thought: you could customize these calendars and give them to customers.
