W3Perl is a free logfile analyzer

W3Perl is a monitoring tool for Web/FTP/Squid and mail servers.
It can use server's logfiles and be used as a web analytic tool (page tagging).
The perl scripts analyze logfiles and produce HTML/PDF reports.
W3Perl can be run from the command line or from the web interface.

W3Perl supports "Page tagging". Insert a small code in your page and logfiles will be created.
Then install W3Perl locally and it will be able to retrieve remote logfiles for you,
avoiding the need to install the package on the web server (and saving server cpu).

Perl need to be installed. No database or cgi or logfiles required.

An administration interface allow to configuration/launch your stats from a web interface

- Switching to a new library to enable table to be sorted/filtered (thanks to Matt Kruse).
This one is really powerful and fast compared to the one I'm using.
- Many bugs have been fixed thanks to your feeback.
- Installation have been improved if you want to use the package on your provider.
- Some old arrays have been removed in order to save memory.

News from v3.04 :

loupe - Frames have been replaced with a CSS menu
loupe - Stats available for any date selection
loupe - Weekly/Monthly/Yearly display daily data.
