passprotect is a pretty straight-forward protection script written in PHP. It allows you to protect any page you decide within a directory. When a user enters the wrong username or password, it automatically sends you a notification email.

This script is simple login form for multiple users. Enter username and password. If correct you enter in, otherwise not. Choose type of login, enter a filename or url where you want to be redirected after successful login. Tested with Apache 1.3.23 & 2.0.54,
