Raceway '78 (a.k.a. Digital Derby) Publisher Description
You will have lots of fun playing this nostalgic remake of Tomy's 1978 electro-mechanical racing game, "Digital Derby". Steer your car past your opponents, gaining the most points for staying in high gear and avoiding crashes. A perfect race yields 150 "lap counts", but attaining over 120 "lap counts" means you are an awesome driver! Can you score over 120? Hint: Different gears make the opponents' cars travel at certain speeds. Eventually you will come to realize which of the gears to be in at the right times to ensure as much high-gear driving as possible! A hi-speed, hi-scoring "Go Turbo!" mode, enabled at 50 "lap counts", takes the Digital Derby concept where it has never gone before!
