PalmHandZipper Publisher Description

HandZipper is an utility that allows you to zip/unzip (compress/uncompress) WinZip (.zip) files directly on memory cards. Once the Zip files are saved to the memory card on desktop via card reader, HandZipper can unzip and install Palm files directly from memory card to Palm device. Many downloads come with a simple read-me file in text format. HandZipper also has a simple text viewer that allows you to view text files within the Zip file without saving it to the memory card first. It is very helpful when installing new applications. Not only HandZipper does file unzipping/uncompressing, it is also one of the best archiving/backup tool. By utilizing the compression algorithm, HandZipper can use less memory card storage space to backup Palm files. Thus, an 8MB memory card can easily store over 12MB of files. Most archiving utility backs up files by copying files one by one to memory card, spread files in folders and sub-folders. Unlike the usual archiving utility, HandZipper stores all files in just one Zip file. It simplifies the archiving process and makes it easy for users to find the wanted backup file. Even more, the files archived by HandZipper can be opened by WinZip or compatible compression utilities on the desktop, makes it the most convenient back up/archiving tool for Palm.
