Marathon Publisher Description
Marathon is a complete runner's diary for marathoners and beginners. Simply enter the figures that are important for your training and Marathon tells you all the key values you need for comparisions. Key features:
  • Route editor for easy access to favorite running locations
  • Easy input with counter taps for all major exercise and fitness values
  • Works with miles, kilometers, yards and meters
  • Extensive statistics for distance, weight and heart rate (pulse)
  • Detailed graphics for pace, pulse and weight Marathon's main screen is the month view. You can tap on each day to enter data. The week view (use button at the bottom left) shows a summary of your weekly training distances. This might guide you in your training schedule. Data entry:
    Tapping on a day brings up this day entry form where you can enter all your training and fitness data. To change values, tap on the digit buttons. Route profiles are used to save information about your favorite running tracks. You can select these routes for easier input of distance information. Tagging an exercise to a specific route also allows for more detailed statistics.
  • If you enter distance and time Marathon automatically calculates your pace. Despite your preferences you can change the distance unit to miles, kilometers, yards or meters. Tapping on "Distance" shows a selectable popup with common training distances.
  • Your last weight is shown directly above the weight entry digits. You can insert this value by tapping on the arrow.
  • Heart rate (pulse) is saved in three values: rest pulse, average pulse and peak pulse.
    Marathon also offers a distance statistic for your shoes. On the first day with new shoes you can select "New shoes" from the menu and the statistics tell you the overall distance with these shoes. Statistics:
    Marathon offers extensive statistics for various exercise and fitness values. You can specify the respective period using the buttons at the top. Graphics:
    Marathon features detailed graphics for pace, pulse and weight. You can tap anywhere on the graph to get more detailed information about this particular entry. Route Editor:
    For your convenience Marathon offers Route profiling which allows you to save specific information about your favorite running tracks. You can save distance, terrain, surface, and difficulty for each route.
    The Route list is drag'n'drop ready which allows you to drag favorite entries to the top of the list for easier access. Update 1.4:
