LingvoSoft English-Turkish Basic Talking Dictionary Publisher Description

LingvoSoft English Turkish Basic Talking Dictionary for Pocket PC translates from English into Turkish, and vice versa, and provides speech synthesis in English.

The ability to pronounce words in English is the distinguishing feature of this software translator. You don’t have to check the transcription, merely select a word and with one touch make the speech synthesizer pronounce it for you. The synthesizer (Text-to-Speech engine) is built on innovative formant synthesis, which creates vocal simulations by modeling the sounds of natural human tongue.

The new English-Turkish dictionary features a searchable database of 65,000 words and phrases. While the software now supports screen rotation in Windows Mobile 2003 SE, virtual keyboards allow the display of European diacritics on devices with a non-European ROM. The new software is a combination of ease-of-use and flexibility.

The new English-Turkish Basic Talking Dictionary for Pocket PC from LingvoSoft is not only built on updated lexical databases, but also runs perfectly on the most recent Pocket PC platforms.   • Pronunciation and transcription for all listed English words.
  • MorphoFinder(TM) function helps you find source words (headwords) for English past participles, gerunds, plural forms, and adjective forms.
  • Advanced searching, considering diacritical signs and ligatures.
  • Quick reverse translation is available for proof of correct understanding.
  • Quick search function: start typing in the Input Line and words beginning with those letters will appear on the screen.
  • All translations for a selected word are displayed in the Translations List.
  • The list for word memorization: the application stores selected words in the Filtered List ensuring easy repeated access.
