You need to know about Yunio, a cloud storage service that doesn’t get you started with 5GB of free cloud storage space.

Oh no, Yunio gets you started with a lot more! Create a free Yunio account and you get started with a whopping 1TB.

In a previous article, I talked about Norton Zone, Wuala, and Tresorit, three cloud storage services that can prove to be very useful. All of these storage services get you started with 5GB of cloud storage space which, in this day and age, isn’t very much. If you want more, if you want a lot more cloud storage space, then you need to know about Yunio.

What’s so great about Yunio? From a functionality point of view, not that much. Or to put it in other words, Yunio provides all the functionality you would expect to get from a cloud storage service: support for multiple platforms, easily upload files to the cloud, sync data across multiple devices, create a folder that can be shared with others, create and share a public link for a file, and so on.

But I digress. So as I was saying, what’s so great about Yunio? The fact that by creating a free account you get started with a whopping 1TB of cloud storage space! If even 1TB isn’t enough, you can always earn more storage space for free. And if you have some money to spend, you can always upgrade to a paid account and get 5TB or 10TB of cloud storage space.

The free account does come with a few limitations though: 5GB limit for single file uploads, create a maximum of 10 synced folders, create a maximum of 5 shared folders, bind up to 5 devices, and more. You can view all the limitations of a free account after you create one, in the Member Center section.
