Lots of things can negatively impact your mood. The fact that you’ve been working for hours on end without taking a break. The fact that it’s either too hot or too darn cold in the office. The fact that your computer’s monitor is too bright, and so is your smartphone’s screen.

“You’re joking, light couldn’t possibly influence my mood” – you might be tempted to say. And you would be wrong. The truth of the matter is that too much (or too little) light can have a big impact on your mood.

Staring at a bright monitor for example can lead to fatigue, headaches and depression, while staring at your smarpthone’s screen the moment you get up in the morning can lead to eye strain and mental irritation.
