Today is Yahoo! Thursday here at FindMySoft and consequently all news articles will be focused on Sunnyvale-based American public corporation Yahoo! and its products. We continue today’s coverage of Yahoo! by reporting that an interesting competition has been rolled out by Yahoo! Mail to users in Vietnam.

Called “Super Race”, the competition has been rolled out as part of Yahoo’s ongoing efforts to be the top email provider in the country –that would be Vietnam. Users that take part in the competition have the chance to win interesting prizes, granted of course they complete the online challenges in the shortest amount of time.

To get Yahoo! Mail users in Vietnam familiar with the Super Race competition, a trial round will run until April 12th (it started yesterday, on April 7th). Three official rounds will kick off starting April 13th and will last until May 4th.

“Yahoo! Vietnam has created a first-of-its-kind online “Super Race” competition where Yahoo! Mail users can win prizes by completing online challenges in the shortest time. The race will demonstrate fun packed and novel ways to experience new Yahoo! Mail with unlimited email storage, enhanced photo sharing, increased attachment limits, and additional social networking features. The innovations are part of Yahoo!’s ongoing efforts to be the leading e-mail provider in Vietnam,” explained Priscilla Tan, Senior Manager, Corporate Communications with Yahoo!.

I’ve saved the best for last. Here is what you can expect to win in the Super Race competition:
  • Asus Eee PC 1008HA laptop
  • Asus ultra-slim widescreen MS226H monitor
  • Samsung Corby Wifi mobilephone S3653W
These prizes will be awarded to the top three entrants in each official round.
  • Asus notebook K40IJ
This is the top prize that will be awarded to the entrant that completed all the tasks in the shortest cumulative time
