Yahoo! has a couple of treats for all you sports fans out there. The first one is a fun sports pop quiz appropriately called Yahoo! Sports Pop Quiz. Think you know all there is to know about sports? Well, by taking this quiz you can prove that. Don’t worry about wasting too much time on the quiz – it’s 60 seconds long.

In one minute you have to answer several multiple-choice questions. For each question you get right, you get 200 points. For each question you get wrong, you loose 100 points.

If you manage to get a total of 1,000 points you will be entered into a daily drawing for $100 worth of fan gear from the Yahoo! Sports Shop, as well as the grand-prize drawing for a year of sports tickets from SeatGeek. You can play as many times as you want to get the 1,000 points, get on the leader board, and qualify to enter the daily and grand-prize drawings.

“Who has made the most consecutive starts in NFL history? Which MLB team wants to break the Curse of the Billy Goat? How many points did LeBron James score against the Blazers on Sunday? It’s time to flex your sports trivia muscle with Yahoo! Sports Pop Quiz, a new social game recently launched on Facebook. Just ‘Like’ the Yahoo! Sports Facebook page and start playing today. There will be new winners every day,” said Yahoo!.

Here’s the second treat Yahoo! has for sports fans – a new online magazine called ThePostGame has been launched. The sports world is covered in the magazine from a lifestyle and entertainment perspective, it shows sports fans what happens off the field or court.

“Yahoo! Sports remains the #1 sports destination on the Web because sports enthusiasts and casual fans know they can depend on the site to deliver the stories they want to read. ThePostGame now allows Yahoo! Sports to enhance that content with long-form, in-depth stories that go beyond regular analysis and commentary, and delve into what happens off the field and behind the scenes,” commented Head of Yahoo! Sports, Kyle Laughlin.
