Yahoo! Feels the Holiday Spirit, Spreads Some Love
Ten days from now children will be rushing down the stairs and ripping open all the presents under the Christmas tree. As the holidays approach, Yahoo! reminds us that we should be kind to the people around us, that we should spread some love. At least during the holiday season you could stop being a self-centered jerk and take a look around you (that was me, Yahoo! was a lot more eloquent).
“In the spirit of the holidays, Yahoo! is encouraging our community to create a ripple of good around the world by doing random acts of kindness. You in? Surprise someone by paying for their morning coffee. Or drop off a warm coat at the homeless shelter. Then update your Yahoo! status to inspire your friends and family to do something good for someone else,” commented Program Manager with Yahoo! Mail, Andrew Molyneux.
In the Yahoo! Mail status update box you will see a heart from now until the end of the year. All you have to do is click the heart and let everyone know you took Yahoo!’s offer, that you in. Then you can click the exclamation point and view some random acts of kindness.
