Want to experience exciting tank battles on your PC or Mac and go against players who take to the battlefield on phones and tablets? Now you can! World of Tanks Blitz, the free-to-play game that features 7-vs-7 tank battles, has just been published on Steam.

"With the game already available on Windows, Google and Apple stores, Steam was a natural step," said Andrey Ryabovol, World of Tanks Blitz Publishing Product Director. "We want to give our players freedom when choosing where, when, and through which channels they want to play World of Tanks Blitz. We’d like to welcome our new players and encourage everyone to join in and have fun battling across iOS, Android, Mac OS X, and Windows devices."

To celebrate the Steam release of World of Tanks, the developer is offering special, never-before-seen tanks for a limited time. And more to the point, it’s offering these three new tanks in the Premium Shop:
  • The Panther 8.8, a tier VIII medium tank with solid armor, great gun handling and surprising speed. Just don’t get hit in the front hull, because it might set the tank on fire.
  • The VK 45.03, a tier VII heavy tank with lots of HP but weak armor.
  • The Großtraktor, a tier III heavy tank with good armor and plenty of HP, but slow reloading and gun handling.

To commemorate the Steam release of World of Tanks, the developer is offering one more thing: a special Steam camouflage called "Breakthrough." This rare camo can be purchased with gold from within the game, anytime from now until November 18.
