World of Goo Available in the Mac App Store
There are more than 1,000 free as well as paid apps in the Apple’s Mac App Store, the App Store announced by Apple in December and launched to the public on the 6th of January. Among the newest apps available in the Mac App Store is the award-winning and quite entertaining World of Goo game.
2D Boy, the company founded by former EA Arts developers Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel., announced the availability of World of Goo in the Mac App Store yesterday, the 7th of June.
Here’s 2D Boy’s announcement:
“Continuing World of Goo Corporation’s gradual takeover of the little Apple fruit factory, WoG Corp PR representatives would like you to know that World of Goo is now available in the Mac App Store.”
If you would like to get World of Goo from the Mac App Store, you can do so by clicking here. The app is available for purchase for $9.99.
In related news, back in April, 2D Boy announced the release of the World of Goo for iPhone app. The app went live in the App Store on the 14th of April and for the first 24 hours it was offered for a discounted price of $0.99. The app is now priced at $2.99. Get it from the App Store by clicking here.
Back in April, 2D Boy also announced that the World of Goo HD app, which originally worked on the iPad alone, became universal. That means the app works on an iPad, on an iPhone and even on an iPod Touch. If you would like to get World of Goo HD from the App Store, click here; the app is available for purchase for $4.99. Get the app and you can play World of Goo with your friends; up to 11 fingers can play the game at the same time.
