With 150 Million Active Users, AVG Is in High Demand

Security company AVG Technologies was glad to announce that it now has more than 150 million active users from all corners of the globe. The company also announced that it recorded 70 million downloads for its mobile products.

The announcement was accompanied by a short video shot in Amsterdam by AVG’s Chief Operating Officer John Giamatteo. In the video, which is embedded below, the top AVG exec announces that the company reached 150 million active users and has passed 70 million downloads for AVG’s mobile products. Giamatteo also focuses on the parallels between AVG and the merchants of Amsterdam who broke the trade monopoly of the Hanseatic League.
