Microsoft is giving you the chance to win a cool accessory like the Universal Foldable Keyboard, and all you have to do is do a bit of writing.

Did I mention that the keyboard is not the contest’s grand prize? The grand prize is a Surface Pro 3 outfitted with a Surface Pro Type Cover and an Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse.

Q: What sort of contest is this?
A: A writing contest.

The Microsoft PC Accessories team is hosting a writing contest that tasks you with explaining how you use technology to be creative (300 words or less).

Q: Who can participate?
A: Students.

This contest is meant for students. They have to get their imaginative juices going and explain, in 300 words or less, how they use technology to be creative in or outside of the classroom.

Q: What can I win?
A: See below.

The grand prize is a Surface Pro 3 outfitted with a Surface Pro Type Cover and an Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse. The winner of the grand prize will be announced on August 5th.

The contest runs from July 17th until July 31st. Each week, Microsoft will pick five “Microsoft Write Now Authors of the Week” and give them a Universal Foldable Keyboard – the ultra-thin, lightweight and compact keyboard that has been designed for the iPad, iPhone, Android and Windows, including Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile.

Q: Where do I have to send my essay?
A: Email your essay to WriteNow@microsoft.com with the subject line WRITE NOW.

All contest entries must be 300 words or less, should be written in a Word document or with Sway, and must be from a student. Submissions will be accepted until July 31st.
