Security company Symantec is putting up tablets, smartphones, laptops, and other cool prizes as part of the Norton Newphoria Sweepstakes. The grand prize is $2,500 in cash.

What is newphoria?
Newphoria is the excitement, the joy associated with purchasing a new gadget. If you feel a trance-like state when you purchase a new smartphone, computer, or tablet, then you’re experiencing newphoria. In all the excitement you may forget to protect your new device from viruses, malware, and other nasties. Symantec would like to remind you that you can use Norton to protect your devices from threats.

What are the prizes?
  • Grand Prize – 1 check for $2,500.
  • First prize – 1 Apple MacBook Air, 11-inch, 64GB, model MD223LL/A, ARV $999.
  • Second Prize – 1 Dell Inspiron i15R-1579sLV 15-inch laptop, ARV $699.
  • Third Prize – 3 Surface RT tablets, 32GB, ARV $599 each.
  • Fourth Prize – 3 unlocked Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphones, ARV $899.99 each.
  • Fifth prize – 3 Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7”, ARV $199 each.
  • Daily Prizes – licenses for Norton products.

Who can take part in the sweepstakes?
The promotion is open to legal United States residents in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

When will the sweepstakes end?
The Norton Newphoria Sweepstakes will come to a close March 28, 2013. The promotion stared on January 17. The winners of the grand prize and all the other prizes down to the fifth will be randomly selected on April 2.

Where can I sign up?
You can enter the sweepstakes by visiting the Norton Sweepstakes website and submitting your email address (this will be used to notify you if you win). You can earn additional entries by revisiting the website, by watching product videos, by reading product articles, by referring friends through Facebook, and by playing the Advergame.
