The Linux Foundation is giving you the chance to win one of two Amazon gift certificates worth $500 each. All you have to do is a take a quick 5-minute survey and you could win the aforementioned gift certificate.

Founded back in 2000, The Linux Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sponsoring the work of Linux creator Linus Torvalds, promoting the Linux open-source operating system, providing neutral collaboration and education, protecting and supporting the Linux development, improving Linux as a technical platform, and managing the Linux.com website so that it is a properly good hub of information for the Linux community and a platform for advocacy for the Linux operating system.

The Linux Foundation is thinking about making some changes to the Linux.com website. And this is where the community comes in. The nonprofit organization needs your help to understand what aspects need to be changed, how to best meet the growing needs of the community. You are invited to take a 5-minute survey and lend The Linux Foundation a helping hand. In return for your feedback, you have the chance to win one of two $500 Amazon gift certificates. Out of all the people who take the survey, two will be selected at random and will win the gift certificates.

“As the Linux community grows and technology evolves, so must Linux.com. We are considering some updates to the site to meet these growing needs and need your help to understand what is most important,” said The Linux Foundation’s Libby Clark. “Your insights are invaluable to us in ensuring the site is helpful and informative for years to come.”

In related news, award-winning developer of free-to-play MMO games Wargaming decided to join The Linux Foundation. Two other companies joined The Linux Foundation alongside Wargaming: AllGo Embedded Systems and Suntec Software. Read more about this here.
